Hmmm. I could tuck one in with the bub and maybe s/he’d sleep through the night a little earlier/better. I’d better use cotton though and not a fuzzy mohair type. ;o) I gotta tell you – all other things aside, it’s the 3am cry-fest (perhaps me *and* him) that I’m dreading. I am absolutely no good at surviving for any length of time on little pieces of sleep. And if I’m dreading this now, the next six months are going to be an eternity.
PS: I saw my little booger on the big screen yesterday! Well, the ultrasound screen anyway. Way too cool!!

Dearest Rachael,
may I offer a companion to the knitted breasts: a knit uterus http://www.birthsource.com/proarticlefile/proarticle142.html
I leave tracking down a knitted vulva for the next person. I know about the uterus from working with pregnant women, before I was a knitter. ๐
Giggle… I can think of several people who could use a pair of knitted breasts. Though I really think they should be made skin color. Perhaps I’ll give them as Christmas presents this year…

I was thinking that it would be really funny to add the knitted boobies to the front of a sweater! Could be a new fashion trend (NOT!)???

knitted boobs — tee-hee! I did actually see an entire knitted naked suit out there in cyberland once. here is the link: http://www.stretcher.org/reviews/rev6.php

All I can think of, looking at those naked suits, is how much mohair itches against my skin.
