MagKnits

February 29, 2004

Hey! MagKnits is live! And I got to actually hold Mariko’s cup prototypes, and they’re AWESOME. I know what people are getting for Christmas this year…..

* And Em’s pre-Oscar commentary is FABulous. I hardly mind that I FORGOT to TiVo it. I can’t believe I forgot. I thought about while I was drying my hair…. and then poof! Gone. So now I’m at work and will miss most of it. But she made me forget all that….

** Thanks for all the wonderful Welcome Home comments! They made me feel terrific!

    Aw, you’re so sweet!
How many times has blowdrying my hair caused thoughts to flee? Too many times. More common, though, is the act of getting up to walk into another room for something…what was that again?

A day late and a dollar short…your new home looks beautiful! I love it. Your quilt inspired me to share my own.
I love the big plant in front of the window and the orange and yellow paint. I love your yarn shelf and your beanbag. I wish you much happiness in your new home.

The colors in your new home are so bright and cheerful, I just want to come in and sit a spell! May you be blessed with lots of love, peace and happiness in your new home. My little space of thinking genius seems to happen in the shower, but the act of drying off appears to erase whatever good idea I had. Hee!

Thanks so much for the compliment on Sage!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m drooling over your new apartment- it looks heavenly! ๐Ÿ˜‰ And I’ll actually be in your neck of the woods in May… I’ll be in LA for a wedding, and then I’m driving up with a friend to Northern California (the best part of the state, of course!) and flying back to MD out of SFO… so maybe we could hook up for lunch or something! ๐Ÿ˜‰
I bet the kitties will be happy to finally get back home to boss you around… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh Rachael, your new home is lovely. I’m so happy for you. Your moving house technique is very very familiar! I love the colors of the walls, and the white shelves . So pretty. When can I come over?
