Latebreaking Fun

January 16, 2004

Like Brooke said,

Let’s Play with the Homophobes Again!

“Would you vote for a presidential candidate who supports same-sex marriage or civil unions?”

Go to the poll at the Traditional Values Coalition and tell ’em whether you would or not. When I voted, 62% were saying “Hey-ell no, I’d like to vote against love, please.” When explored, it really is a rather spiteful, hateful site. Ah, well. Maybe we’ll get that percentage turned around, huh?

Just cast my vote. I like voting on these polls just to mess with their heads but I never explore the sites. I try to avoid the hate people are sending my way.

Just cast my vote and it is down to just a little over 61%. This issue just drives me absolutely nuts! My oldest friend has been with his partner for over 6 years. His partner is French. They live in Paris but how will they ever move back to the States, if they choose to? I was wondering, would civil unions in America recognize international civil unions?

Bleh; I feel dirty just reading that site. The cool thing about using public library computers is that I can vote as many times as I switch computers! Let’s see, there’s 11 stations here, 5 in the next town over…

argh, there was another one of these hateful polls (PLEASE forgive me, I cant remember the name or site) that caused a huge bruhaha, because originally they set up thier website and only planned on telling thier supporters about it so that the results would be in thier favor they then planned on presenting the results in congress to make some bullshit argument that “no American would tolerate gay marriage” (yeah..oook), however word got out and in the end, us kooky liberals managed to push the results about 60% in favor of gay marriage, I think the poll organizers are still spitting nails about that
