larissa-brown-bw-photo-by-lynette-fitzpatrickLarissa Brown writes books – about Vikings and about knitting – as well as creating designs for hand knitters. She writes historical, romantic, time travel fiction set in a fictional world in the White Woods of Iceland’s 10th century. Her first novel was Beautiful Wreck and her second novel just launched and is called So Wild a Dream. She lives in Portland with her husband and son.

She has quite a few knitwear designs! Some seem to be related to her books (like your Cypress Hollow series)? And she has a beautiful smile! In that photo she looks like you could be sisters actually…

Thank you, Kathleen! I have always thought Rachael and I look similar, and I knew that when I finally got to talk to her “in person” we would have a fun conversation. (BTW, I am creating a series of knitting designs for my newest book, just as I did for Beautiful Wreck. I can’t help but have both kinds of ideas at once – writing and knitting.)
