Brief post today, just a few thoughts:

1) Thanks for the great response to the post yesterday! It wasn’t an expected epiphany. Well, which are? I suppose that would negate the whole epiphanic premise (I really like the word epiphanic).
2) Go see my friend MJ at her new spot HERE. She’s so worth knowing.
3) Anyone in the Bay Area want a job at Art Fibers? (You’d be crazy not to. Heck, I’m thinking about it.) There’s a full-time spot opening up (no, Kira’s not leaving, they’re just busy as hell). You should be quick, flexible, and know yarn and knitting. For more, just call ’em. Or see the CL post HERE.
4) Go see Mare‘s incredible hotty cover. Mine ain’t got nothin’ on hers.
5) Love somebody up today, ‘kay?

Dude, how much would I love a job at Art Fibers? Not exactly workable for me though. Damn. I’ll just have to make friends with whoever does get it.

As for #5 on your list…you do that too, y’hear?

I love, love, love Folk Alley!! Thanks for the terrific link – now how to hook up my laptop to my stereo speakers so I can hear it through the whole house ….

Does the ArtFibers job pay enough for me to live in SF (and not in a cardboard box)? Oh, man, that’s tempting . . . but I’m not sure Hub would be amenable to moving right now.
I like the word “epiphanic” too . . . I have a bit of a thing for words that exist and make sense but don’t seem like they should.

Epiphanic is right up there with serendipitous. And speaking of serendipity, Folk Alley is a great link. I’m so glad you pointed the way.

Aye aye on the Folk Alley link. I was jonesin’ so bad the other day, I put Joni Mitchell in the car. I think my husband’s going to go berserk in there; ha! Oh: It’s a good word, like parsimonious.

I used to think my dream job would be to work in a library….I love the library. Now, there’s competition…yarn! Hmmmm. Maybe I could open a yarn/book store. Then I probably wouldn’t have time to read OR knit!
