Before I forget: The Whoreshoes are playing tomorrow night in SF at the Plough & Stars. I’m on call, so I’ll be there if I don’t get called in to work…..
Wow Rachael, congratulations on the housey! And in a little while when you’re nervously looking for a good caring tenant for the little condo, keep a girl in mind. Just sayin’. ๐ Best of luck in the darn escrow wait!
Hi! I live in Georgia and am living vicariously thur you at the moment. My partner and I have been house hunting for about 4 months only to find the perfect house and have someone out bid us at the last moment. I am still sad. I just thought I would not stalk anymore and let you know that you are giving me great hope that soon we will be living in escrow limbo too! I can’t wait!
Very best of luck to you!
Elizabeth
Hey! Love reading your blog. I ordered the Whoreshoes cd from cdbaby yesterday. I can hardly wait to get it. Good luck with the new house. I can tell you from experience that the house buying process is stressful and agony inducing, but it all works out in the end. so does the wedding stuff too. go with the plastic glassware, you’ll be glad you did.
Hey all,
Have you guys seen this? Someone is trying to take over the Stitch ‘n’ Bitch name. You can read about it here: http://www.cafepress.com/saynotosfse/
And Rachel, the wedding details will fall into place! I’m in the wee early stages of planning my own big queer wedding and I have already accepted that I’m going to procrastinate big time on this one. Oh, and plastic has never been a big deal.
Congrats on the new home!
Randomly enough – I’ve been floating around all morning with the feeling that I got something wrong somewhere. Then it hit me! Rachael, I do know how to spell your name correctly. Sorry about that.
Congrats on the house! What great news! And don’t worry, you’ll make it through the escrow thing no prob and then wonder what you were so scared about. And good luck with the wedding too- plastic is the new glass.

Maybe you should have your wedding at your new house. That’d be one decorating motivation, huh!
