February 21, 2004

Alas, no Stitches photos. No time. Not really blogging today, either. Tomorrow I’ll try to have them up.

I just had to say that it blows when you THINK you know your schedule and therefore don’t bother to check your calendar and show up two hours EARLY on the day you’re supposed to work two hours LATE. So I got to work at seven, didn’t need to be there till nine, and now have to work until nine p.m. Not much moving goin’ on today, I suppose.

During my unexpected two hours of Nothing To Do (I guess I could have gone home and packed more, but eh), I drove to the Bayfarm Island shore and sat in the rain in my car, facing the City and the Bay Bridge, knitting, listening to the new Indigo Girls album, and reading the New Yorker. This may have taken multitasking a leetle too far. But I haven’t had much time to do any of those things, so that was just a two hour bonus.

Enjoy your weekend, all.

Well, it stinks that you showed up early for work. But it sounds like you made the most of your two hours!
So, when you say, “Alas, no Stitches photos.” Does that mean no photos ever? Or no photos today? I hope you had a great time. What’d ya get?

Ahhh…that sounds like a great use of two hours. Any time spent sitting in the rain in the car listening to Indigo Girls has to be good.

You little eager beaver you.. getting to work 2 hours early!!! Glad you made good use of your time and got some R&R in ๐Ÿ™‚ Looking forward to seeing your new place. Do you realize how lucky you are getting to move in like you are?!?! We used to move in one day.. major catastrophe everytime… But yes… moving is NEVER fun… Settling into the new place IS though and look forward to hearing about your adventures.

Just sending general good vibes, Rach! Can’t wait for Stitches and house photos, but you’ll get to it when you get to it. Now take a deep breath. And another one. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve done that before, getting my work start time wrong. It’s a bummer. At least you were able to get some knitting done and the view of the Bay Bridge and the City sounds wonderful. Ah, I miss San Francisco.
