One more quick note, this is what my mom is like:
We went to see a gay comedy (Mambo Italiano), and she laughed in all the right places.
Then, driving to sis’s house, I told her about the tattoo I want. She said, “That sounds great!”
She’s from NZ, where they’re rather British in their ways and emotions. It’s probably taken a lot for her to get to this point where she can react like this. But she’s the coolest little mama ever. And I told her so.

How did you like Mambo Italiano? It was filmed locally so I’d love to hear your critic about it. ๐ It is so nice to hear that your mom is really supportive and just seems to be an awesome person. How else could she birth such incredible kids if she wasn’t herself pretty neat! ๐
Have a great weekend! ๐

I was sure the punchline was going to be: And then my mom pulled up her shirt and showed me a three-headed sea serpent tatooed aacross her chest.
[your comment box loads totally crazy for me so I can’t see what I’m typing for half of each line. Not to worry– it makes for a wild ride. It’s as if I’m sending the words through a little tunnel and I only get to see them come out the other ened.]

Kiwi mums are cool! I know mine is! I know a lot of New Zealand women of all ages who are open and embrace differences. I think we are a long way rmoved form that cold british stereotype. Can you guess where I’m from???
