Rachael not only do I love your books. But I love those bracelets or boobles as my grandmother would call them. Went to there site and can’t find the stitch markers. Love that Idea.

  2. says

I asked for one for my birthday and my husband finally confessed he had no clue what I was talking about so if I could just get one and hand it to him to give me, he’d be happy to get me one… lol.
Rachel, be a dear and help a girl out… love ya buckets!

  3. Janice Mahaffey says

I have become a knitting FIEND this holiday season, so this would be VERY helpful! And, I <3 your hair! ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. says

    happy holidays all
not sure i’ve ever seen one but my blind friend uses them exclusively. I can’t even tell you how many pages of notes I must write down as i do each row. wow it’d be way too easy to get used to using a wrist one.
    thanks for the giveaway,

  5. says

I would love to win this, as i’m going in to hospital soon for a neck operation and then hernia operation, and plan to knit in hospital and recovery. im only 32 and feel bad i’m leaving kids soon to get this done. wishing all the others goodluck to for the competition.

  6. Carol says

As a somewhat beginning knitter I’m constantly getting lost in my stiches. Tried counters but then I would forget to do those too. Yes, I’m a lunchbox as far as knitting goes, but I haven’t given up yet! The bracelet would be a nice addition to my otherwise minimal collection of knitting aids! Just wished you lived closer to the East Coast, I think you would be a fun person to be around! Have a fabulous day!

  7. Lyndsey Silva says

Hi Rachael! How rad would it be to win one of these! Hoping to be the lucky comment :) love Digit – such a cutie! I’ve been knitting up a storm this winter and just taught one of my girlfriends how to knit last week! I finally went to Piedmont Yarn too – triple LOVE! Happy Holidays xoxo

  8. says

So that’s how those work! I’ve looked at pictures and couldn’t quite wrap my head around it. Thanks! And for the feline enhancement as well. Fingers crossed!

  9. cathy goldman says

  10. Jane Bailey says

I’ve never seen anything so cool and I’ve been knitting for over 40 years. I would LOVE to win one! Thank you!

  11. says

Bonus Digit shot! My, what a growly cat he is. My Tyler is like that when he feels GOOD (how I know he’s “off”? He’s quiet and friendly, LOL).
Very pretty bracelet and a simply genius idea! Do they have purple ones?

  12. Sarah Stevens says

What a clever idea! I’ll need to look into these more closely. In the meantime here is my entry – thanks for the opportunity to win.

  13. Jennifer says

So, we are doing demonstration speeches (not protest demonstation but how to demonstrations) in class and I have to use this as a good example of speaking…

  14. Keisha says

I love these things, and have been eyeing them from various vendors for about a million years. I’ve never broken down and obought one though. I’d still love and use one. ๐Ÿ˜‰
P.S. as a fellow chronic migraine sufferer, my bed of nails pain (anti-pain?) pillow is on the way to try. I am intrigued, and hopeful! Thank you for sharing.

  15. paula henderson says

I have been looking at these! I would love to have one. If I don’t win, I’m buying one for myself! Thanks for the chance to win.

  16. says

When I first read “knitting abacus bracelet” I thought, “I understand those words, but not in that order.” I’m glad you did a video demo, I don’t think I would have been able to grasp a written explanation.
What a clever bracelet that is!

  17. Barbara perez says

WOW!! that is great as a newbee im in love with kntting have only been knitting for a month, im a Quilter., but im a knitter to Now! and very proud of it.. the bracelet is fab! wow so cute so much nicer then my little red cliking box counter, its a must have, I see.. would love to have one, thanks for showing it to us and glad you got a new one….

  18. Margaret Westerman says

A much more elegant way of counting rows than the plastic row counter I use now or hash marks on a piece of paper.

  19. says

What a clever idea! I’m always losing my stitch counter thingy, and am way too lazy to activate the knitting app on my feeble iPhone. So this could work for me. Besides, I’m a jewelry girl.

  20. Anne says

Rachael-I came here to tell you how much I enjoyed Wishes and Stitches to find you are giving away a fabulous useful piece of jewelry! Love both!

  21. Sue H says

I absolutely *LOVE* their stitch markers. Have commissioned multiple sets in various sizes and beads. These are the markers I make sure NOT to lose! To be honest I’ve never figured out how that bracelet works – but not that I know it is magic! Thanks for the opportunity to test it in person!
    Happy knitting to everyone!

  22. chandra says

LOVE your books! I actually have some awesome stitch markers from Hide and Sheep, and would be so excited to add this to my knitting tools! Thanks!

  23. Helen Wetherbee says

Those bracelets are super-d-duper awesome!!! I might have to order one (or ten)! Thanks for the kitty shots. Love it!!

  24. Kate says

I never quite understood how they worked before when I saw them around. Very cool and useful. I love it when form and function come together in something so pretty.

  26. Deb says

I just finished reading all your books – love them! Can’t wait for more!
Also very intrigued by these bracelets. Hope I win!

  27. Sally at Rivendale Farms says

Would love to win one! (Especially since all of my row counters are currently committed to other projects, which is a sad state of affairs. Hopefully I’ll also contract a case of Finishitis here before Christams.)

  28. Judy says

Knitting bling for the holidays, yes!!! This is so much prettier than the red and white counter I use on a piece of knicker elastic tied around my wrist.

  29. Suzanne says

I love Hide and Sheep. I have a ton of their stitch markers and the bracelet. You don’t need to enter me in the contest. I just wanted to say love the video on how to use it. I never used mine, just like to look at it but next time I need to keep track, it’s coming out.

  30. Eileen Rivera says

Those are awesome…especially since I tend to lose count of the row I’m on almost immediately:)I love the idea.

  31. Danielle says

Huh. So simple, why have I been struggling with post-its and punching holes in my patterns (seriously) for so long?

  32. Shelley says

Rachael, nice to see the pretty smile ” in person.”. Love the bracelets-what a clever idea, cool and functional.

  33. Michelle says

Okay I never win any thing but yet still I enter because if you don’t enter then you have no chance to win and we all want at least one chance to win. okay crossing fingers now hey crossing toes too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  34. Cheryl says

Add me to the list of knitters who want one! So glad I found your blog. Next, to request one of your books from the library.

  35. Candace (from Canada) says

I dont normally comment but geez – would I ever love to have one of those “brace-row-counter-lets”. Hey, it could even double as a mini-mala (kinda- bead count not quite right) great for all the zen knitter types out there.
Thanks for the giveaway. Love your blog. Second that “more accordion videos” request.

  36. Laura A says

Brilliant! I love the design. SOOO much nicer than those little red and white stitch and row counters. I would love to have one. Please pick me!

  37. Koru says

Super cute idea. I’m always loosing my row counter in the middle of a project. You’d never loose this one.
Love the hair colour by the way.

  38. deidre corbet says

So pretty and smart! Would be much better than my imperfect system of postits and index cards. Bought your book My LIfe in Stitches as a gift to myself and loved it.

  39. says

I love these. They are really wonderful. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one. I want one.
    Pick me!!!

  40. Dawn says

Oh they are just lovely!!! Thank you for posting about them! I’d like to win just like everyone else, so I might just have to buy some instead!

  42. Ann Bridson says

What a great idea. Love both of the ones that showed in the video. Love your books. I have not seen this idea here in New Zealand

  43. says

Hi Rachael, Thanks for doing this giveaway on your blog, I would love to win one of those!
Also, I’ve been meaning to write to you and let you know how much I’ve enjoyed the Cypress Hollow books. I’ve listened to all 3 from Audible and just had a great feeling in my heart after each one. I’ve become really attached to the characters and hope there will be more someday. Thank you for the wonderful books!

  44. Wyldchai says

Those are amazing and I have often thought I wanted one! Also, your post on the acupuncture pillow was really interesting. I’ve recommended it to a friend.

  45. says

These bracelets are fantastic! I would love to have one. I also love the second row counter you demonstrated. Goodness, products like these might just persuade me to actually keep track of my knitting rather than getting frustrated when one sleeve is longer than the other (or is it one sleeve is shorter than the other?!).

  46. cgReno says

Brilliant. I have never seen these bracelets and they are the perfect gift for my knitters! Who knew? Not me.
As always, thanks Rachael, and as a side note, your hair looks FAB. Gives me the courage to stick with the “grow out”!

  47. Victoria Nelson says

    Those are amazing!
I am new to knitting and that is just the best idea (i have the hardeest time tracking my row counts… them!

  48. Barb says

Digit reminds me of my kitty, I’ll be held/displayed when I want to be, thank you very much!
Love your books, love your blog. Would love to win a row counter bracelet!
    Happy Holidays! :)
